Murphy Chair Company stands behind the same time-honored principle of “Constant Integrity and Fair Dealing” first put in place by M.J. Murphy in 1872. If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, please return the item(s) for an exchange or full refund (including your initial shipping charge). All returns must be received within 30 days of receiving your order. Return shipping must include a tracking number emailed, along with your name, to email@example.com at the time of shipping. You are responsible for return shipping.
If the item is defective, please email directly to firstname.lastname@example.org first to receive different shipping instructions.
If you’re requesting an exchange, we’ll send your replacement item(s) at no charge. If the item(s) you request is not available when the return is processed, we will issue you a full refund.
All returned items must be in the original condition you received them in. For apparel orders, we do not accept washed items unless the item was defective. If a washed item is returned, it will be returned to the purchaser.
Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned
item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.
If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment).
Shipping costs will be determined at checkout. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are nonrefundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
US Domestic (excluding Hawaii and Alaska): UPS Ground Rates
International (including Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada): Most competitive
International packages are subject to customs/duties charges. Murphy Chair Company is not responsible for these charges. These costs are determined by your local customs office, and cannot be determined ahead of time by Murphy Chair Company. We do try to minimize these charges for you by listing the wholesale value of the order on the commercial invoice. This provides the customs agents with a true, legal value, while minimizing the costs for you. However, we cannot mark international orders as a “gift” to bypass/reduce any of these charges.
